Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting
Perform routine and chronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease)
Conduct physical exams, preventive care, and wellness visits
Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions commonly seen in an ambulatory setting
Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence‑based guidelines
Manage medication therapy, refills, and adjustments

Qualification

Board Certified in CardiologyCalifornia medical licensureDEA registrationBLS certificationACLS certificationPALS certificationNRP certificationClinical experience

Required

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
Eligible for California medical licensure
DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certification required
Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) as required by department policy

Preferred

Five (5) years of recent, relevant clinical experience preferred
