Responsibilities

Directs and manages the care of designated operative patients and performs an ongoing patient assessment, creates and maintains a safe environment, and implements and enforces all policies and procedures

Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure

Develops a plan of perioperative nursing care based on patient assessment including physical, psychosocial, cultural, growth, and development dimensions

AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate

AHA NIHSS Certificate

CNOR - Certified Operating Room Nurse
