Responsibilities
Performs ultrasound imaging in the following areas: abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro and neonatal heads
Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner
Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
Available for call as requested
Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
Qualification
Required
RDMS or eligible and/or ARRT with previous training and ultrasound experience
If eligible, must apply for certification testing within 12 months of employment
Certification must be attained within 24 months of hire
