Senior LevelPhysician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Residency Program Director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The role involves designing and launching a new OB/GYN residency program, developing an educational curriculum, and overseeing the administration and educational activities of the program.

Responsibilities
Design, strategize, and launch a new OB/GYN residency program
Develop an educational curriculum
Monitor and follow up on residency performance indicators
Strengthen teaching skills of existing staff and prepare for transition to roles as educators
Foster the academic and professional development of residents
Manage clinical scheduling of residents and monitor residents’ duty hours, as required by ACGME regulation
Maintain current knowledge of and compliance with the ACGME Program Requirements
Oversee administration and educational activities
Direct supervision of all program residents and program staff
Provide direct patient care outside of resident program panels, as required
Qualification
Required
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York
Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
Proven clinical and administrative leadership experience
Benefits
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
