Responsibilities

Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in St. Louis Park with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed
Support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Center(s)
Practice under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring

Qualification

CST certificationSurgical tech experienceAseptic technique knowledgeSurgical instrumentation knowledgeCPR skillsTeamworkCritical thinking

Required

Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire
NCCT at time of hire or obtain the certification within 36 months of hire
Surgical tech experience required (would consider highly motivated new grad)
Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods
Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients

Preferred

SPD experience preferred - Cross training to Sterile Processing
Currently validated CPR skills or BLS certification is preferred
