Responsibilities
You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Physician
You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room
You will assist the Registered Nurses or Physician in providing patient care as needed
You will perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation assuring that it is reflective of patient needs, and actions taken
You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment
You will assist physicians in administering contrast media
Registered Nurse (RN) will perform within scope of practice to Registered Nurse licensure until cardiovascular invasive specialist certification is obtained
Qualification
Required
Certification of Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist or to obtain within six (6) months of employment if holding current Registered Nurse (RN) License
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) or current Registered Nurse (RN) License
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry as a standard for care provision, previous experience and RCES registry or to obtain within six (6) months of employment
Certification of AHA BLS and ACLS CPR
