Responsibilities
You will provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics
You will assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status. You will participate in patient placement and developing the total plan of care
You will provide purposeful and skilled interaction care. You will use procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician’s care plan
You will observe and report the patient’s reaction to treatment and changes in the patient’s condition
You will promptly communicate pertinent patient needs to the physician, other team members, and the patient’s family
Qualification
Required
License or license eligible as an Occupational Therapist
Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Must be BLS and ACLS certified by AHA
Preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient setting preferred
