Learning Center Program Activity Leader
The Salvation Army is an international movement that focuses on meeting human needs and preaching the gospel. They are seeking a Learning Center Program Activity Leader responsible for facilitating academic and social-emotional learning experiences for students in kindergarten through 5th grade through engaging activities.

Responsibilities
Facilitating academic and social-emotional learning experiences for students in kindergarten through 5th grade
Leading a variety of engaging, hands-on activities such as project-based learning, cooking, gardening, physical education, art, and more
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all students are supported in their growth and development
Building strong, positive relationships with students, families, and community partners to help each child realize their unique path to success
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required and must be at least 18 years of age
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to lead and manage small groups of children aged 6 to 13 years old
Passion for education, creativity, and community engagement
Must be reliable, energetic, and committed to helping all students succeed
Ability to maintain ODJFS standards for employees and program operation including passing an FBI and BCI fingerprinted background check
Ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards (if driving is a requirement)
Preferred
Experience working with children in educational or youth development settings, preferred
Current certification in CPR/first aid, preferred
