Bonquois Postdoctoral Fellow in Women's History
Tulane University is offering a full-time Bonquois Postdoctoral Fellow position in Women's History at the Newcomb Institute. The fellow will conduct academic research, present their work, mentor undergraduate research assistants, and engage with the Newcomb Archives to create public-facing products related to their research.

Conduct academic research on women's history and/or gender in the U.S
Present work at a public lecture
Have regular mentoring meetings with the Newcomb Institute Director of Research
Work closely with one to two undergraduate research assistants
Engage with the Newcomb Archives to produce an exhibit or other public-facing product related to their work
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in History, American Studies, or closely related field
Demonstrated research interests that take an historical and intersectional approach to gender, reflecting how race, class, sexual, ethnic, community, and national identities interact
Preferred
Research focus on 20 th century women's history in the Gulf South
