Responsibilities

Operate specialized radiological equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures
Perform duties within multiple specialty areas
Provide life saving treatment for stroke and trauma patients
Use cutting edge equipment and products to perform procedures such as stroke treatment, chemotherapy treatments (Y90's), and embolizations
Ensure patient safety, radiation safety, and manage supplies and charging of complicated exams
May have additional duties delegated such as safety, supplies, contrast, staff/patient scheduling, and training

Qualification

Interventional RadiologyRadiography CertificationBLS CertificationAZ MRTBE LicensurePatient SafetyRadiation SafetyTeam Collaboration

Required

Two (2) years experience in interventional radiology or related experience required
BLS American Heart Association required
Primary certification by the ARRT in Radiography (R) and AZ MRTBE licensure required

Preferred

ARRT Post-primary Pathway Certification, E.g., Vascular Interventional (VI) Preferred
