Tenured or Tenure-Track Open Rank Faculty Position in Policy-Related Research
Rutgers Addiction Research Center is seeking a tenured or tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level to expand their research program in addiction research with policy implications. The successful candidate will lead research addressing key public policy questions related to substance-based and behavioral addictions, with opportunities for collaboration across various disciplines.

Responsibilities
Expand the research program in addiction research with policy implications
Develop a research program with currently active federal funding that addresses key public policy questions related to substance-based and/or behavioral addictions
Consideration for an Associate Director role overseeing the growth of targeted research areas within the RARC
Work closely with the Director and other leadership team members to expand the center’s program of research and establish connections with external partners
Qualification
Required
PhD, MD or equivalent doctoral degree
a research program with currently active federal funding that addresses key public policy questions related to substance-based and/or behavioral addictions
Preferred
Senior candidates will be considered for an Associate Director role in the RARC
expertise in newly-emerging areas in addictive behaviors including cannabis and psychedelics
