Southeast Primary Care Partners is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join their team. The role involves providing high quality general x-rays and ensuring patient care comes first by working closely with providers and assisting in various tasks within the clinic.

Responsibilities

Ensure that patient information and procedures ordered are correct by communicating with the patient and altering, if necessary, before doing exam

Explain procedure to patient and aid patient in getting into the proper position for ordered exam, utilizing aids if necessary

Reduce radiation to patients and staff through utilizing radiation protection techniques, beam restrictive devices, patient shielding and knowledge of exposure factors

Produce a quality image with few repeats, identifying markers and correct orientation for viewing

Critique images to ensure that all anatomy is included and look for potential anomalies that may require further imaging

Keep a log of exams done and exams sent out for radiologist reads and ensure that results are sent to the provider in a timely manner

Maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and patients by wiping down equipment and handling all equipment with care. Report any problems immediately

Assist in clinic by helping input faxes, clinical documents and assisting with drug reps in down time
