Responsibilities

Preparing medications for dispensing both sterile and non-sterile compounds

Stocking automated dispensing machines

Delivering medications

Performing admission medication histories

Medication counseling and patient education

Assist in precepting pharmacy technicians and IPPE pharmacy students

Participate in educational experiences, projects, and engage in scholarship

Ensure that patient care is provided under the supervision of a registered pharmacist through compliance with the department's policies
