They are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to provide safe care for patients in the Operating Room, working closely with the circulating nurse and maintaining sterile techniques during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Operating Room (OR)
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services the Operating Room Technician has 8 hour accountability for the safe care of patients in the Operating Suites
Working in a team effort with the circulating nurse to provide specialized care
Scrubs in on surgical cases and is responsible for maintaining sterile techniques
Must possess thorough knowledge of instrument usage and care
May transport patients and be required to put away equipment

Required

Operating Room Technician Certification required
Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association
