The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Inpatient Medical Oncologist to join their Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology. This role focuses on providing comprehensive inpatient care for adult cancer patients, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to manage acute medical care and support patient transitions to outpatient care.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients with cancer
Collaborate closely with outpatient/primary oncologists, advanced practice providers, nursing/support staff, and other specialists
Oversee and manage the acute medical care of hospitalized cancer patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy and clinical trials
Handle complex medical conditions, coordinating multi-disciplinary care, and supporting the transition of patients from hospital to outpatient care
Qualification
Required
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of accredited Oncology/Hematology Fellowship
Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Board eligible or certified in Medical Oncology
Able to meet medical licensure requirements in Ohio
Active certification from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) required
