Responsibilities

You will work under the direction and guidance of Roadway Project Managers and Senior Engineers

You will work collaboratively with other KCA associates

Provide technical support for transportation engineering projects

Build a strong foundation in highway design principles, and concepts

You will gain a thorough understanding of roadway geometrics and roadside safety design

You will learn MicroStation/Open Road Designer/AutoCAD

Build solid verbal and written communication skills

Must be a self-starter with desire to learn

Will be designing and producing plans and estimates for transportation projects

Types of projects could include new roadway alignments, widening, milling and resurfacing, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, highway safety, intersection, and interchange design
