Responsibilities

Design and engineering services for highways, expressways, and major road networks
Preparation of right-of-way plans, detailed roadway designs, drainage, floodplain management, and intersection improvements
Utilizing CADD to prepare various engineering drawings, layouts, and/or models to communicate project details in accordance with established standards and procedure
Collaboration with environmental scientists, utility locates, and surveyors to meet stringent requirements and address maintenance and improvement needs
Assist in providing technical and operational support for exposure to Highway engineering principles, standards, and practices
Project Delivery for key clients (including the design, environmental, and procurement processes)
Various Related Highway Disciplines (Stormwater management, green infrastructure, utilities, structures, etc)

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
Course work related to transportation
Previous design intern experience

Preferred

Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months
Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (Microstation/Inroads or AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
Ability to utilize design manuals, as needed
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
