They are seeking a Medical Technical Writer who will provide accurate medical narratives, manage claims, and foster patient engagement while ensuring organizational excellence.

Responsibilities

Create medical and legal documentation with accuracy and a focus on fostering positive relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders

Efficiently manage a high volume of claims on a weekly basis

Provide continuous support by reviewing patient records and identifying additional health issues to maximize benefits

Maintain high standards to build and sustain patient trust

Clearly communicate to ensure that patient expectations are aligned with what is realistically achievable

Apply technical skills to secure prompt and successful claim approvals

Foster patient satisfaction and engagement through effective communication and consistent support

Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders

Required

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is required, preferably in coordinating and managing patient documentation, medical writing, medical terminology, or in a healthcare administration role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software is required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Biology, Nursing, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field preferred

Familiarity with healthcare programs and benefits, particularly the Department of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) program, is preferred
