Associate Computational Scientist
Serinus Biosciences is an AI drug discovery company focused on cancer signaling. The Associate Computational Scientist will work on the Pep-to-Mol platform, utilizing machine learning and computational chemistry to transform drug discovery processes and support the development of new therapeutics.

Responsibilities
Execute computational workflows to analyze experimental results from our wet lab and process data from external resources
Manage and optimize the company’s software infrastructure to enable rapid feedback loops between computational design and the wet lab testing
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Pep-to-Mol platform through workflow automation and algorithm development
Present findings to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, translating complex computational insights into actionable drug discovery decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, data science, ML, or related field
Advanced coursework in biological sciences, biophysics, biochemistry, or a closely related field
Exceptional programming skills in Python, proficiency in bash scripting, and experience with standard software engineering practices
Track record of working independently on scientific and/or technical projects
Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets and data management on cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
Collaborating to solve hard problems is better in-person. Candidates will be expected to work on-site in our NYC office (Manhattan)
Preferred
Prior experience with cheminformatics tools, using machine learning libraries, or running workflow execution infrastructure
Prior experience designing or running bioinformatics workflows for analyzing omics data
