Responsibilities

Read and understand architectural and cabinet layout drawings and create cabinetry that accurately reflects design specifications

Read and understand a cut bill of materials and create materials according to specifications

Provide the setup and operation of power and hand tools utilized by the cabinet shop such as table saws, shapers, nail and staple guns, routers, belt sanders and spray paint guns

Operate specialized computer operated large power equipment such as CNC routers, Beamsaw, Edgebander, dowel machine, if required by job assignment

Prepare and packagesfinished product for shipping

Identify issues or conflicts in specifications and drawings and bring them to the attention of management for resolution

Perform clean up and organization of storage, tool crib and shop floor areas. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Operate and follow all safety rules and provides coaching and reminders to peers in following safety and procedures of the department
