Responsibilities
Envision, collaborate with executives for investment and drive the software design and development for new major data-plane components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure
Define the foundations for the next generation of OCI data-planes, making deep architectural changes
Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications
Perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems
Qualification
Required
6 to 10+ years of experience in software development
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Expertise in highly performant, reliable, available system engineering
Experience in building innovative solutions from the ground up
Strong technical, research, and analytical capabilities
Demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively
Experience in defining specifications for significant new projects
Ability to specify, design, and develop software according to specifications
Experience in developing, designing, and debugging software applications or operating systems
Ability to work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment
Passion and expertise in solving challenging system, data-plane level and performance problems
Ability to design broad distributed system interactions for high performance, high scale data-planes
