Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies is seeking a motivated individual for a paid internship in Agricultural Insurance. The intern will work closely with the Farm and Agribusiness Underwriting team, gaining hands-on experience in insurance underwriting and participating in various projects and tasks that support department goals.

Gain an understanding of key functions through on the job training and development

Collaborate with department staff to contribute on various processes and projects

Assist department managers with day-to-day tasks and procedures

Undertake special assignments as instructed by department manager

Build relationships with department stakeholders and contribute toward company and department goals

Required

Must be enrolled at a college or university and have declared a major course of study working towards graduation

Proven track record as a hard worker, and excellent team player

Outstanding customer service and communication skills

Be familiar with computer equipment and how to operate basic software programs
