Chief Executive Officer (Hope Services)
AAIDD is working on behalf of Hope Services, the largest provider of services for people with developmental disabilities and mental health needs in Silicon Valley. The CEO will lead the agency in achieving its strategic goals, overseeing a complex organization with a focus on diversifying revenue streams and maintaining high-quality care for clients and families.
Research
Responsibilities
Lead an agency with an annual budget of over $60 million and over 900 employees
Position Hope Services as a thought and advocacy leader for behavioral health and serving people with developmental disabilities
Spearhead efforts to diversify and strengthen different revenue streams
Play a pivotal role in Hope’s $3 million capital campaign and implementing the strategic plan goals
Oversee a complex organization and partner with senior leadership to achieve agency goals
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a CEO or in other managerial positions within the nonprofit sector
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, fundraising, and human resources
In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and performance management frameworks
An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Ability to foster a collaborative environment and build relationships with stakeholders
Commitment to the mission of serving individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs
Preferred
Experience in the behavioral health field or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Experience in capital campaign fundraising
Knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting nonprofit organizations
