Fellow - Craniofacial Orthodontics

They are seeking a Fellow in Craniofacial Orthodontics to provide specialized orthodontic care for pediatric patients with craniofacial anomalies, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while also contributing to the education of residents in related fields.

Responsibilities
Provide pediatric dental care to evaluate tooth and jaw development and growth for craniofacial and cleft patients
Provide special care orthodontics in collaboration with speech pathologists, oral surgeons, and craniofacial plastic surgeons
Treat conditions, defects, injuries, and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face for children and adolescents with craniofacial anomalies
Assist in providing clinical training and education to residents in Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Plastic Surgery
Qualification
Required
Applicants have completed a verified postgraduate residency training program in Orthodontics
Applicants must be eligible for limited licensure in the State of Washington
Supply documentation of passing scores on parts I and II of the NBDE
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
Advanced training in an Orthodontics program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission
Advanced Dental Education in Orthodontics
Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's and other sites as applicable
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment
Preferred
Previous experience working with children and adolescents with medically compromised and developmentally delayed pediatric patients and patients with craniofacial anomalies
