Electrical Technician, Field Engineer
W. P. Keith Company INC designs and manufactures state-of-the-art industrial furnaces, kilns, and ovens for domestic and international customers. They are seeking an Electrical Technician, Field Engineer to handle the layout, wiring, implementation, and testing of electrical systems on manufactured products, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
Electrical knowledge includes high and low voltage, schematics, drives systems, temperature controllers, PID loops, basic understanding of PLC programming, and troubleshooting
Experienced in the use of a variety of electrical control devices (Controllers, PLC, VFD)
Wires all electrical systems maintaining UL and CE compliance, background knowledge of ISO 9001 is helpful
Knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, AC and DC circuits
Knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Fabricate and install parts that conform to Engineering CAD drawings
Analyzing needs and product requirements to improve designs
Provide feedback of potential improvements to Engineering Departments
Provide equipment startup commissioning at end user facility
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Minimum of 3 years prior work experience related to electrical systems
High school diploma/GED and Trade Tech, or college degree
Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling at the workstation and manufacturing
Be able to lift to 45 pounds at times
Excellent eyesight and color vision
Good dexterity and physical stamina
Able to physically perform the duties required by this job stand, sit, be mobile, stretch, lean, climb, kneel, crawl on knees, belly crawl, lay on back, work with back, shoulders, and arms, work with fingers and hands; up close and distance vision, ability to adjust depth perception, color vision
Preferred
Experience with gas burner systems or HVAC background is helpful
Experience in forklift driving, scissor lift, and other common shop machinery is helpful
