Responsibilities
Conduct virtual psychological assessments for entry-level and lateral Federal Wildlife Officer candidates
Administer, interpret, and review standardized psychological tests and interviews
Evaluate candidates for clinical psychopathology, emotional regulation, judgment, stress tolerance, substance abuse tendencies, and other behavioral risk indicators
Identify qualified candidates likely to succeed in high-demand law enforcement environments
Provide written individual psychological evaluation reports and hiring recommendations to the USFWS within specified deadlines
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field (PhD or PsyD)
Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of practice
Preferred
Experience conducting law enforcement psychological evaluations
