Program Coordinator for Student Belonging
Trinity College is a highly selective liberal arts institution located in Hartford, Connecticut, seeking a Program Coordinator for Student Belonging. This role will support the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by developing opportunities for student belonging, assisting with data collection, and providing educational trainings/workshops.

Responsibilities
Creates, organizes, implements, and evaluates quality educational programming to foster student belonging
Stays current on research and best practices that focus on fostering student belonging and evaluating impact
Contributes to developing materials to communicate the work of the Office
Builds relationships with student organizations, academic departments, staff, community organizations, area non-profits, and educational institutions to support student belonging
Participates and supports team members in their office initiatives and programming
Monitors and reports on budget
Processes invoices and college credit card transactions
Drafts/develops budgets
Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Areas of expertise: psychology, social work, education, or other related field
1-2 years of relevant work experience in a Higher Education or non-profit setting
Experience in creating, organizing, publicizing, implementing, and assessing programs in educational settings
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong presentation and group facilitation skills
Cultural sensitivity and awareness; ease in building relationships with people from all backgrounds and perspectives
Competent level of technical knowledge: Zoom, Teams, Word, Power Point, Excel, and other Microsoft Suite programs, social media platforms, and other tools such as Canva, Prezi, etc
Ability to work with supervision; independently; and as a member of a team
Preferred
2 or more years of relevant work experience in a Higher Education or non-profit setting
