Leidos is seeking a Software Developer to provide Post Production Software Support and Post Deployment Software Support for the CECOM IEW&S Directorate Sensors and Mission Division. In this role, you will contribute to the development and sustainment of mission-critical sensor platforms by delivering technical services, software solutions, and subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize source code and software applications

Apply frameworks and manage the full software release lifecycle

Perform programming, documentation, configuration management, testing, and debugging

Collaborate with system engineers to translate analytic and interface requirements into functional tools

Design and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution applications

Work independently or lead small teams to deliver robust sensor software solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience, or Master's with under 2 years (additional experience may substitute for degree)

Active DoD Secret clearance

Proven experience across the full software lifecycle in military systems

Proficiency in C#, C++, .NET, Visual Basic

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11

Strong documentation and configuration management skills

Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative environments

Willingness to travel up to 10% within the continental U.S

Experience working in matrixed team structures

Preferred

Experience with virtual environments (e.g., VMware)

Knowledge of Visual Studio and plug-in architectures

Familiarity with tools like Eggplant, Jira, Confluence, Perforce Helix ALM, Git/GitHub
