Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and lead music for Protestant worship services, ensuring a vibrant and engaging worship experience
Select and prepare appropriate contemporary and traditional worship music in collaboration with the responsible chaplain
Lead the praise and worship team, including vocalists and instrumentalists, in weekly rehearsals and Sunday services
Play an instrument (keyboard, piano, or guitar) to support worship services as needed
Prepare and manage worship presentations using presentation software for services
Recruit and train volunteer musicians and singers to enhance the worship experience
Coordinate musical elements for special services such as Christmas, Easter, and other Holy Days
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of experience leading a church or chapel music ministry
Proficiency in playing and leading worship music on at least one instrument (keyboard, piano, or guitar)
Strong knowledge of Protestant worship styles, music traditions, and contemporary Christian music
Ability to read and transpose music, arrange compositions, and direct vocal and instrumental groups
