Responsibilities
Process a large volume of inbound and outbound consumer loan-related phone calls from members and co-workers on a daily basis
Support members and call center, branch and other consumer lending employees with the completion of loan applications; the collection, verification and processing of information contained in loan applications; and the disbursement of loan proceeds to members
Educate and cross-sell members on consumer loan protection products
Obtain and verify the required Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) documentation to properly record the credit union’s lien on loan collateral
Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members
Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
Preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
