Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar and catered events
Make Starbucks coffee and specialty drinks as required
Prepare and deliver food orders accurately and promptly
Follow Marriott’s Steps of Service and comply with all local health and safety regulations
Manage transactions using the POS system; handle cash and credit payments responsibly
Stock bar supplies and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and Bistro area
Support catering events by providing bar and beverage service as needed
Qualification
Required
Previous bartending experience is required
Must have a positive attitude and strong commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday evenings, 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Knowledge of drink recipes, responsible alcohol service, and local liquor laws
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs)
