Responsibilities

Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials

Confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods, testing properties

Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials

Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components, soliciting observations from operators

Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities

Support Operations, Maintenance, Environmental and Engineering teams to result in safe, effective, sustainable, and cost-effective operations

Utilize analysis and problem-solving tools

Expand knowledge, experience, technical excellence, and proficiencies in key competencies in preparation for greater responsibilities

Assist plant supervision in maintaining high standards for quality, environmental compliance, productivity, and safety

Rotation of positions in other areas of the mill including Shift Supervisor to expand knowledge and experience
