Start in 2026 WinterSACC Chicago, part of the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce network, is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern for Spring 2026. The role focuses on supporting the SACC-USA network through website management, social media communication, newsletter creation, and event planning, providing a unique opportunity for real-world experience in a non-profit environment.

Responsibilities
Keeping the website up to date
Utilizing social media tools for communication
Creating and developing newsletters
Engaging in graphic design
Handling marketing collaterals, invitations, press releases, and other send-outs
Supporting the planning and execution of networking events
Assisting with the development and implementation of event concepts and themes
Coordinating with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure events are planned and executed smoothly
Communication with Regional Chambers, members, and other stakeholders
Writing and producing electronic newsletters
Producing electronic and printed brochures
Managing social media and other marketing activities
Organizational development to strengthen the network
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled, or recently graduate, in a university program or graduated within a relevant field of study
Swedish citizenship or strong ties to Sweden (for U.S. visa purposes)
Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Knowledge of Graphic Design (Indesign, Photoshop, or similar) is a plus
Software skills, including MS Office, Photoshop, and social media experience
Preferred
Preferably, previous experience in organizing events
