They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Assistant trainee to assist with communications via social media and create marketing materials for events and advertising.

Responsibilities
Maintain and update ASHM Social Media Calendar
Create social media copy and post on ASHM platforms
Develop new social media campaigns
Write and distribute weekly news email communications
Design printed materials for ASHM events and advertising
Maintain and update ASHM press clipping records
Post ASHM events on online listing sites
Attend staff meetings and meetings as needed with supervisor
Assist with ASHM special events and on specific event committees and photograph all events
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, communications, museum studies, or similar field
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with digital/social media marketing and electronic communications
Superior written and verbal communication in English
Preferred
Photography/videography skills are a plus
