Responsibilities

Manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with considerable impact
Drive mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions among business and technical stakeholders
Partner with customers and engineering teams to determine project priorities
Use technical judgment to question proposals and test assumptions
Create plans with clear, measurable success criteria and communicate progress and outcomes
Oversee the gap between teams, processes, and system architectures
Proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks
Review metrics and seek new data mechanisms for visibility
Ensure program alignment with organizational objectives
Assess development processes, test plans, and operations/maintenance requirements
Streamline and eliminate excess processes to improve project delivery
Influence teams to decouple from dependencies and eliminate architecture problems
Write effective narratives and present them to Directors and VPs
Mentor and develop others in the organization and provide constructive feedback

Required

5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Preferred

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
8+ Experience in Aviation or Consumer Electronics Program Management
