They are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist Non-registered who will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining proper documentation and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Assists provider with cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing, and/or first assisting to achieve optimal patient care
Maintains knowledge/expertise of all cardiovascular procedures and team functions, of instruments and supplies used for electrophysiology and interventional cardiovascular vascular procedures, and to provide input for equipment purchase and maintain a cost-effective inventory
Maintains and monitors aseptic technique to reduce risk of surgical site infection as well as contamination of peers
Other duties as assigned per professional licensure

Qualification

ARRT certificationRCIS certificationBCLS certificationACLS certificationCath Lab experiencePatient careAseptic technique

Required

Successful completion of ARRT, RCIS, EMT, LPN or RN is required
Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support AND Clinical\ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
2 Years In lieu of above, working in Cath Lab, OR, or Special Procedures is required

Preferred

Associate's Degree is preferred
Clinical\RCIS - Registered Cardio Invasive Specialist OR Radiology\ARRT - Radiology Tech License OR Clinical\EMT - Emergency Medical Tech preferred
