Industrial Engineer (Onsite)

They are seeking an Industrial Engineer to work with senior leadership on capital expenditure and hiring plans, conduct machine capacity analysis, and manage improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities
Work closely with materials planning to review sales and operations planning requested changes and rough-cut long-term planning
Work cross-functionally to imbed industrial engineering tools and processes in manufacturing or assembly facilities
Evaluate effects of schedule and product design changes
Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improving process flow
Participate in and leading Kaizen events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, machining, materials management, operations management, process improvement or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and 1+ years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, machining, materials management, operations management, process improvement or closely related industrial environment
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Experience using Microsoft Office products
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Engineering degree (manufacturing, mechanical, industrial or aerospace engineering)
Understanding of capital acquisition process
Data mining & manipulation experience with Excel, VBA, SQL, other methods
