Start in 2026 WinterThe Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in San Diego (SACC San Diego) is seeking motivated individuals for their Marketing & Cleantech internship position starting in January 2026. The intern will conduct marketing and communication for the chamber, focus on the cleantech industry, and manage the planning of the annual Green Connections conference, while developing strong relationships with current and prospective members.

Responsibilities
Conduct marketing and communication for the chamber and the chamber's events
Start planning the Green Connections cleantech conference
Maintain close contact with the Chamber's current strategic partners and corporate members
Analyze the cleantech market and target new business members
Initiate contact and develop a solid understanding of business needs and negotiate competitive terms to attract new members
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a university program or graduated, within relevant field of study
Can work for six months straight
Fluent in oral and written Swedish and English
Ability to work independently as well as in teams
Outgoing personality and strong communications skills
Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
Swedish citizenship required
Preferred
Relevant practical work experience and/or extracurricular activities
Previous international experience from studying and/or working abroad
Experience or interest in the cleantech industry highly preferred
Project management and leadership experience
Sales experience, marketing experience and/or event planning experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage and influence others
