The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager in driving continuous improvement across operations, ensuring products and processes meet high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
Analyzing failures, leading corrective and preventive actions, and addressing customer complaints
Leading root cause analysis and problem-solving teams using tools like 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone diagrams, and process mapping
Investigating and troubleshooting product, process, or production issues
Supporting continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, Lean methods, etc.) to enhance overall plant performance
Managing part qualification documentation, including FAI, Gage R&R, FMEA, capability studies, control plans, and process validation
Tracking, analyzing, and communicating quality metrics and performance trends
Partnering with suppliers to improve supplier quality and compliance, including audits and corrective action follow-ups
Developing and maintaining inspection requirements for incoming materials
Driving Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Cost improvement projects that contribute to plant-wide excellence
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or continuous improvement (manufacturing environment preferred)
Knowledge of ISO or IATF standards and familiarity with auditing processes
Strong background in: Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Six Sigma principles, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, Capability Studies and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
Equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered
