Conducting subsurface investigations (test borings, cone penetration testing, test pits)
Reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans
Performing analysis of bearing capacity, settlement, earth pressures, pavement section design, and slope stability
Designing deep foundations and ground improvement solutions for structural support
Creating temporary and permanent earth retention systems
Preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports
Qualification
Required
Candidates MUST have a degree in Civil Engineering
5 or more years of experience with geotechnical explorations and construction observation and testing related to the following areas:
Conducting subsurface investigations (test borings, cone penetration testing, test pits)
Reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans
Performing analysis of bearing capacity, settlement, earth pressures, pavement section design, and slope stability
Designing deep foundations and ground improvement solutions for structural support
Creating temporary and permanent earth retention systems
Preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports
Preferred
EIT or PE preferred
