They are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to develop and optimize their marketplace, working closely with leadership to shape the technical roadmap and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and improve the collectibles marketplace
Own core parts of the tech stack and collaborate with the Head of Engineering, CTO, and other stakeholders
Build a performant, smooth, and observable website using Typescript and Next.js
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6+ years of experience in designing and building beautiful and complex web applications, and the ability to do so faster than most competent people think possible
Deep understanding of modern web frameworks from their implementation details through best practices
Experience working with internal APIs and optimizing data fetching, caching, and rendering
Proficiency with writing useful tests and utilizing monitoring tools, and a well thought-out philosophy about the place of monitoring and testing in a frontend codebase
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform preferred) and deploying applications to public cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
Strong testing and CI/CD practices
You take ownership of your work with a leadership mindset, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and the ability to drive projects forward independently
Proven ability to work independently on a remote-first team, with experience in asynchronous communication. Top-notch communication skills are essential
Preferred
Your past experience includes working in concert with a designer (or a team of designers) to bring their ideas to life. Having worked with Figma is a plus, although not an absolute requirement
A sense of design is a plus
