General Manager West+Canada (Strategy&Operations)
Blacklane is a global premium chauffeur service operating in over 50 countries, and they are seeking a General Manager for US West & Canada. In this role, you will own the regional P&L, lead a high-performing team, and execute market strategies to drive growth and enhance customer engagement across key locations.

Responsibilities
Design and implement a tailored strategy for West Canada, balancing the needs of corporate clients, premium tourism, and cross-border travel with the US West Coast
Own the West Canada P&L, ensuring financial goals are achieved through smart planning, operational efficiency, and proactive cost management in a geographically diverse market
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local team
Create a collaborative environment that attracts and retains top talent across multiple cities
Deliver best-in-class service to corporate clients, international travelers, and luxury hospitality partners, ensuring retention and loyalty in a region where reputation and service quality are critical
Represent Blacklane with regional stakeholders such as premium hotels, corporate travel managers, tourism boards, event organizers, and airport authorities (YVR, YYC)
Use tools like Google Suite and Tableau to track performance and guide strategic decision-making
Qualification
Required

Accelerate market growth across key hubs, including Vancouver and Calgary
Represent the brand to customers, partners, and external stakeholders
Design and implement a tailored strategy for West Canada
Balance the needs of corporate clients, premium tourism, and cross-border travel with the US West Coast
Position Blacklane as the premier chauffeur service in Vancouver, Calgary, and other regional hubs
Ensure financial goals are achieved through smart planning, operational efficiency, and proactive cost management
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local team
Create a collaborative environment that attracts and retains top talent across multiple cities
Deliver best-in-class service to corporate clients, international travelers, and luxury hospitality partners
Ensure retention and loyalty in a region where reputation and service quality are critical
Represent Blacklane with regional stakeholders such as premium hotels, corporate travel managers, tourism boards, event organizers, and airport authorities
Use tools like Google Suite and Tableau to track performance and guide strategic decision-making
Business builder mindset with a strong drive for growth
Charismatic leader who can inspire and lead a geographically distributed team
Able to design and execute strategies adapted to both urban corporate hubs and seasonal tourism peaks
Experience in the luxury/premium industry (e.g., high-end hotels, resorts, or tourism services)
Ideally have experience in mobility or startup environments
Thrive in a market with strong seasonality and diverse customer demands
Strong understanding of West Canada's premium mobility market, including tourism flows, airport dynamics, and cross-border corporate travel with the US
Fluent in English
French is a strong asset, especially for cross-Canadian collaboration
Additional languages are a plus
