Pediatric Psychologist – Plastics

Northwestern University is seeking a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator in the Department of Psychiatry. Responsibilities

Conduct outpatient psychological services and inpatient consultations for patients on the plastics/surgery service
Provide psychological treatment of and/or referrals for patients on the plastics/surgery service
Consult to parents, schools and medical/surgical staff
Supervising trainees from psychology and psychiatry
Engaging in scholarly activities and conduct research

Qualification

PsyD in PsychologyAPA-approved internshipFellowship in Pediatric PsychologyClinical experience in PediatricsSupervising traineesConsultation skillsResearch skills

Required

PhD or PsyD in a psychology training program
Completed an APA-approved internship specializing in clinical child or pediatric psychology
At least one of the training programs must have been APA-approved

Preferred

Fellowship-level training in pediatric psychology which includes the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with complex medical needs
Clinical experience with medical specialties including plastics/surgery
