Responsibilities
Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping)
Collaborate with C.I. Manager to assess the Current state of the plant’s Operations; Develop Future State vision and implementation plan
Drive multifunctional teams. · Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals
Deliver YFIMS training modules
Support other C.I. initiatives, including best practice implementation, while striving to improve Business Metrics
Assist in the gathering of YFIMS Assessment data. Collaborate with C.I. Manager to improve Lean-relevant metrics, including those in the 6 panel
Implementation of a time study system across all processes and use it to drive labor efficiency improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Level Degree
Area of Study: Engineering or similar
2-5 Minimum Years of Experience
3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces
Engineering/Process experience
Solid knowledge of manufacturing principles and operations
Certified in Lean Manufacturing, preferred certification as Green Belt
Experience with Microsoft (MS) Project, MS Office
Basic Statistical knowledge
The ability to communicate effectively across all levels
