Responsibilities

Drive acquisition of new clients and net-new logos in mid-size to enterprise markets, while also expanding relationships within existing accounts
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities that align with our consulting services portfolio
Understand client goals and challenges and position relevant consulting services (e.g., app development, data/BI, delivery, PMaaS) to meet their objectives
Develop tailored proposals and solutions in collaboration with technical and delivery teams. Note: Success in this area requires relevant industry or services context, which is considered a prerequisite to producing effective proposals
Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach through contract negotiation and handoff to delivery
Maintain and grow long-term client relationships through regular engagement and strategic account planning
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; provide accurate forecasting and reporting
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to our service offerings
Represent Hylaine at client meetings, conferences, and networking events

Required

Proven experience in IT sales, with a strong track record specifically in consulting or professional services environments (preferred over technology/product sales experience)
Demonstrated success in new client acquisition and logo growth in competitive markets, with established relationships and proven results in the Atlanta metro area
Deep understanding of the IT consulting delivery model, including project-based work, time and materials, and fixed-price engagements
Strong knowledge of core service areas such as application development, data intelligence/analytics, IT delivery services, and project management as a service (PMaaS)
Demonstrated ability to sell customized, complex IT solutions across multiple domains
Experience navigating long and consultative sales cycles, working with both technical and business stakeholders (including C-level executives)
Ability to understand client pain points and translate them into actionable and tailored consulting proposals
Familiarity with delivery lifecycles, resource planning, and aligning project scope with business outcomes
Skilled in pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM usage (Salesforce)
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
