They are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer Intern to join their global e-commerce team, where the intern will develop front-end systems for e-commerce products and collaborate with various teams to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities
Develop efficient and highly reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications for e-commerce products
Code optimization to improve scalability, reliability, security and performance of web applications
Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver best in class user experience
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
General familiarity and interest in frontend development, including: Languages: JavaScript/Typescript/HTML/CSS
Frontend frameworks: React/Vue/Angular
Packaging frameworks: Webpack/Rollup/BaBel/AST/Gulp
Familiar with key concepts like functional and asynchronous programming, closures and types, layouts, specificity, animation, cross browser compatibility, data security and accessibility
General understanding of multi-tier application architecture and protocols, familiarity with product and software development lifecycle process
Preferred
Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
Agile, quick self learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver
Deeply passionate about software coding/development and building great mobile/web applications
Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment
