Responsibilities

Design and deploy enterprise-grade security systems aligned to leading frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
Develop custom security automation and integrations using Python, with a focus on orchestration platforms such as Swimlane (SOAR)
Conduct security architecture reviews, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend innovative solutions for enterprise adoption
Partner with security operations, infrastructure, and development teams to detect, respond to, and prevent threats in real time
Troubleshoot advanced system, application, and network issues with security implications, ensuring rapid resolution and prevention

Required

15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or systems/network engineering
Expert-level proficiency in Python scripting and development, with proven experience building security automation frameworks
Hands-on knowledge of Swimlane or comparable SOAR platforms
Deep expertise in: Network protocols, firewalls, and secure architecture design; System hardening for Windows, Linux, and iOS; Endpoint and network defense technologies (EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR)
Strong troubleshooting skills across network, system, and application layers
Experience applying secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and DevSecOps principles
Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage complex technical initiatives with minimal oversight

Preferred

Hands-on expertise with several of the following technologies: Splunk Cloud (SIEM), Symantec ProxySG (Blue Coat Proxy), CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM), Carbon Black Application Control, Netskope Cloud Security, Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), Qualys VMDR / Policy Compliance, Gurucul UEBA / SIEM, Pentera Automated Security Validation
CISSP (ISC2)
SANS/GIAC certifications (GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN)
CISM or CRISC (ISACA)
Python or automation-specific certifications
