Responsibilities

Contribute to the architecture, simulation, and optimization of complex electrical systems supporting high-performance LIDAR platforms
Drive schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout, ensuring compliance with DFM principles while achieving signal integrity, power efficiency, and EMC/EMI robustness
Perform hands-on bring-up, debug, and validation of prototype hardware, diagnosing and resolving electrical design issues efficiently
Partner with firmware, optics, mechanical, and software teams to ensure smooth integration and reliable system-level performance
Author and execute comprehensive EVT test plans, ensuring hardware meets functional requirements, performance benchmarks, and quality standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience in hardware product development (industrial, automotive, robotics, or related fields)
Strong knowledge of high-speed digital and analog circuit design, with experience in signal integrity, power delivery, and noise suppression techniques
Familiarity with hardware evaluation methods including test case development, performance monitoring, and automation
Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and data acquisition systems
Proficiency in communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, MIPI, and Ethernet
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Cadence, Altium) from design through validation

Preferred

Background working in high-volume manufacturing environments
Knowledge of automotive qualification standards such as AEC-Q100/200
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python for test automation and data analysis
