Responsibilities

Develop DCIM Tooling: Build custom solutions for asset management, inventory tracking, deployment automation, visualization, and operational dashboards
Support Infrastructure Growth: Create software that accelerates the build-out and scaling of modern data centers
Drive Technical Standards: Mentor peers, shape architectural decisions, and set the bar for code quality and design
Guide Build vs. Buy Decisions: Evaluate third-party tools against in-house development, balancing scalability, efficiency, and cost
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with operations, support, and product teams to deliver tools that meet real-world business needs
Ensure Reliability: Design resilient, fault-tolerant systems capable of supporting a rapidly expanding global footprint
Champion Best Practices: Advocate for modern workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code, to enhance speed and consistency
Own Projects End-to-End: Take responsibility from concept to deployment, delivering measurable impact

Required

5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Go, Rust, Java, C++, or similar languages
Proven experience with distributed system design and scalability patterns
Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and modern CI/CD frameworks (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
Strong background in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multithreaded programming
Comfortable working with TCP/IP, network programming, and Linux/Unix systems
Ability to balance trade-offs between scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Strong collaboration skills and a track record of building relationships across technical and non-technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Clear and effective communication, with the ability to translate complex ideas for diverse audiences
