Responsibilities
Lead Engineering Teams: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers working on complex financial systems
Deliver Mission-Critical Platforms: Oversee systems supporting trading, risk management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring reliability and low latency
Define Technical Roadmaps: Shape medium- and long-term technical strategy for financial infrastructure and data platforms
Foster Engineering Excellence: Establish best practices in testing, deployment, observability, and secure software development
Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with product, risk, and business teams to align technical investments with strategic priorities
Drive Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies in cloud, distributed computing, and AI/ML to improve platform performance and capabilities
Qualification
Required
8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years managing teams in enterprise or financial services environments
Strong background in backend engineering, distributed systems, or large-scale data platforms
Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++; experience with modern frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Proven track record delivering highly available, secure, and performant systems in production
Skilled at coaching, mentoring, and growing engineering talent at multiple levels
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with trading, risk, payments, or compliance systems strongly preferred
